Metsäkonepalvelu Group is a Nordic forestry contracting company. Our main business is to produce timber harvesting services for our client companies at forest- and sawmill industry.
MKP is founded in 1970. Our headquarter is in Hämeenlinna, Finland. We have operations in Finland and Sweden. Our operations at Sweden are managed by our subsidiary MKP Sverige AB.
Our vision is to be a trendsetter in our industry and a important link at sustainable prosperity of Nordic forestry.
We offer a strong partnership and high quality timber harvesting services for our customers needs. On quality of our operations, we rely on our skilled employees and the use of latest technologies.

We pro vide our services with a fleet over 100 forest machines (harvesters, forwarders, excavators) for different type of work. Our fleet is equipped with versatile options for different type of conditions from wet to rough soils.
We manage large scale of timber harvesting services from early thinnings to clear cutting and preparation for planting. All of our operations are run by our own site managers. For most of our customers we also offer supply chain management.
Our forest machine operators are all trained professionals. We have a high standard for our employees. Every forest machine operator have to fill requirements and accomplish a qualifications for first aid, work safety and nature treatment.
As a company, we are committed to PEFC certification. Our managers and employees are also accomplished a qualifications to work in FSC certificated woods.
